    Ionithermie

Have you tried ionithermie? It involves low level electricity passed through a clay on the skin and this detoxification process supposedly reduces cellulite and tones the muscles.

Hmmm...I haven't actually heard of ionithermie before, but the name does tell a lot about how it probably works - electricity and heat. I tried to dig into a little and in some ways, it looks similar to body wrap because both treatments involve applying clay or a substance to the skin and wrapping it with a special fabric. However, ionithermie is different because of the use of electric stimulation.

I'd have to do some research as this isn't anything I've heard of, but quite frankly, it sounds like quackery. Unless the clay has metallic particles, it wouldn't be an electrical conductor. Perhaps the water in it before it dried might conduct a small amount of electricity but it seems doubtful.
